Milestones

In 2021 WAGNER Rail Schweiz GmbH is founded to support and advise WAGNER Rail GmbH.
2019 the first project in the USA is completed (Caltrain)
In 2018 there are numerous new projects such as Metro Glasgow, Voralpenexpress of the Schweizerische Südostbahn, Mireo Rheintal, People Mover Moscow, etc.
Due to the expansion of WAGNER Rail the move to new premises takes place in 2018.
New development of the smoke switch to take place in 2017
The Rail department of WAGNER Bayern GmbH is completely transferred to the new subsidiary WAGNER Rail GmbH in 2016.

In 2015, the first aerosol extinguishing system will be used in a rail vehicle.
Groundbreaking: In 2015, the first metro in China (Metro Shenyang) is equipped with water mist.
In 2012, the fire protection company equips fully automated metros in Kuala Lumpur with redundant fire protection with Siemens
Further projects in the following years: e.g. DB regional trains with PESA, Talgo High Speed Train for Saudi Arabia, Stadler Aeroexpress for Moscow
TITANUS SIL II approval in 2012
In 2010, WAGNER Bayern receives the Bavarian Safety Award for the Fire Protection Division with its project metro Munich.

Expansion of the early fire detection system portfolio in 2008
- first smoke switch in a railway vehicle
- first TITANUS PRO^.SENS^® in a rail vehicle (subway Munich)

In 2008, the system portfolio is expanded to include water mist technology.
- First water mist system in a rail vehicle (subway Munich)

With its own system portfolio, the focus in 2007 will be on the areas of fire detection and gas extinguishing for rail vehicles.
